As we write this stuff the feds are finishing up the wall they are building to keep out the migrants who really do shore up what is LEFT of our farm industry. Here we are, a country that cannot even feed itself anymore and we buy tomatoes and such from our southern neighbors where, as in Asia, human excrement is used for fertilizer and we spout all the rhetoric at home. If we are threatened by terrorists we need to address that situation and stop selling ourselves out for oil and learn to tighten our belts and stop being who we are .. learn to conserve .. restart our farm and logging industries and care for our country and preserve green space set aside for a reason. Shoot, even Laura Bush made a joke out of how if anything on "the ranch" is amuck George takes a chain saw to it. Gimmee a break!!
