if you can. I don't care if what I get is the dregs of what is too complicated or the accent is too heavy to make it to India or voice recognition. I'm developing my medical transcription ear and skill and macro library and keeping my skills up. I think if you become an editor of VR you start losing that. And what they are going to need in the future, after the offshore fad has fizzled and the VR hopes are dashed, is transcriptionists who can transcribe, who can put the quality in the document the first time around. And as you said, there is going to be a shortage, at the current rate new MTs are being trained. So I don't care if people want transcription at low rates or not, if supply doesn't meet demand, the rates are going to go up, and I believe that will happen.
