Dictaphone Platform

I have used the Dictaphone platform for two years now and just love it. It's very user-friendly and has a great expander built in. If your system is set up properly, the patient demographics are already filled in and all you have to do is verify the work type and the date of service and make sure the appropriate physician ID has been entered. When you sign of a job the next one automatically comes up...and very quickly. Usually there are about five jobs in your queue at all times, sometimes more.

On the other hand, we have tried to implement the VR system for the last 18 months or so. The boss e-mailed us a few weeks ago stating that we were abandoning VR because it turned out to be no more effecient than just doing things the "old way." The girls who had trained on VR were thrilled since they would much rather have just transcribed the reports than to edit the VR.
