Help w/minutes of dictation

Hello.
This is my first time on this board, as I never new it exist (where has my brain been hiding?).

Can anyone tell me how to figure out how many minutes of dictation you should be able to transcribe in an hour? I have to confess, I've worked for the same old Hungarian surgeon for 30 years (first job)but he is retiring and I've been putting my feelers out with other practices. I've been blessed to be on salary and realize what a great job I have had.
Some of the offices that have shown interest have asked me how many dictated minutes I can transcribe on an hourly basis and I guess, I just never had to figure this one out.
