I have been there and done that with the shedding loop. Believe me nothing works like this furminator. I am telling you if I didn't see for myself I would think the advertizing pictures were bunk. Somehow it only cuts the undercoats and leaves the outer coat intact.

I guess you could say I should be a rep for this company cause it really works just like they say it does and is fantastic. It truly is amazing what this tool does but as I mentioned to another post; the blue handle one when the blade gets dull it is done. I bought the pricier one with replacement blades and it is bigger than the blue handle one and cuts my job literally in half.
