Don't know about you but I have a lab/blue tick hound and she has a double undercoat. She weighs about 120 and I love her dearly but the fur makes me nuts UNTIL I heard about a nifty gadget called the Furminator. I absolutely love it. I got it on a web site for about $55 and believe me it is well worth it. The pictures they show on this site are really true. I use about once a week on her and the shedding is reduced by about 70-80 percent. No, I am not a rep, just somebody like you that goes crazy over animal hair. Hope this helps.
