I worked in a clinic setting for 30 years. I LOVE being home. I love that all of my hard work is for me and Uncle Sam. My hard labor isn't being done for the benefit of an employer with a pittance being paid to me. I love not having to get up and do hair and make-up and get dressed up. I can sit and type in my pjs or sweats and noone cares. I love that I don't have to be out in bad weather. I can sit at my desk and watch the rain or snow and merrily type away. I love that if my out-of-state sister calls, I can take the time to talk to her without a boss giving me dirty looks. Most of all, I love that I no longer have to deal with nasty, hateful, backstabbing and just not nice co-workers and employers. I wouldn't go back to work in an office for anything.
