get any better if she still doesn't get it after 10 months. She is taking advantage of your friendship, apparently thinking she doesn't have to put any effort into her work because her boss is her friend. She has no consideration for your position as the business owner and responsible party. You have done everything and more that could be expected of a compassionate boss. She is selfishly and greedily taking advantage of you and the situation will not improve. You must look at this as a business decision and do what is best for your own livlihood. Her work has a detrimental effect on your reputation and could adversely impact your own ability to earn a living. Fire her immediately and get it over with. Her need for money does not constitute a reason for you to continue to tolerate her deliberate carelessness and incompetence. If she were truly your friend, she would be doing everyting in her power to make sure the work she does for you is perfect. She clearly cares little for you or your business. There is no reason for you to continue to tolerate her poor work ethic.
