It's real fast and works great. I don't transcribe on Word right now, but I did check mine out on Word, and it's super fast, same as on Windows. The number of entries is apparently unlimited--I have nearly 6000 on mine so far. It costs about $90--don't know if that is reasonable, since I've never tried another one. I bought what the company I work for recommended that we use.
