I'm just old and set in my ways, and I refuse to try to adjust myself to fit anybody else's agenda, that's all. I'm also too old to have any hormones, and for that I'm grateful. I'm a contented old cow, happily out to pasture, with many male friends and relatives that I love.

It's easier to blame the entire opposite sex for the failure of our own dysfunctional choices in the past than to acknowledge our own part in what happened to us. Men are just people, same as us, and we are all flawed. If you (in the generic sense, not the personal sense) go around wearing a sign saying, "I'm worthless, please hurt, use and abuse me so I'll know I'm alive", there will always be some sicko out there who will volunteer to do so, be you a man or a woman. I was sicker than the men I married and recruited to abuse me.
