You are so grasping at straws. What about juries made up of people like us who hand out money by the billions to people who have sued doctors and hospitals for stupid things. You don't think that drives up insurance costs? What about the druggies, alcoholics and diabetics who keep using the drugs, drinking and eating sugar treats? You think that doesn't impact? The problem in this day and time is that NO ONE wants to take responsibilty for stupid decisions. Still sorry for your friend, but I can't reach her. Why did you only mention MQ? What about Spheris, Transcend, and all the other companies? I would be wiilling to pay more for my hospitalization and still have a job.
