computer clicking

Just a quick question here, I work for MQ on the DQS platform. For about a month while I'm typing along I will hear a clicking sound, like a window is being opened and my blue title bar will go pale, like another window is open in front of it. I also loose my cursor.

At first I thought it was random, however, as I started a log of these events I noticed that the clicking would happen at 33 minutes after the hour every two hours during the morning. In the afternoon, it would happen every hour at 33 minutes after. The next day the same pattern held, but it happened 35 minutes after the hour.

I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this and what you think it might be? And no, I have not talked to tech about it.
