I was grossly thrilled in 1992 when I got the notice by snail mail that I was now a CMT, and the little certificate suitable for framing. In fact, I ran all over town on foot (it's a real small town in Texas), waving it in everybody's face, including my pharmacist, grocery store clerks, etc., calling everybody on the phone....they all thought CMT must stand for "certified mental and terminal." One woman who saw me screaming in the street, waving the certificate, thought I'd won the lottery.

Wish I didn't know now what I didn't know then. .... (After that one manic episode, however, I didn't tell it unless they asked at work or at a local chapter meeting.)
