Why join AAMT

When I first started working for a hospital the gal next to me was the leader of the local AAMT group. When I went to lunch with her one day she told me that she would be going to a seminar at our hospital and that she attended them with the local AAMT group. So I asked what AAMT was all about and what are the advantages to joining, etc. You know what she told me? She said "There are so many reasons, I just can't think of any right now!" She said there was a list written out and she had it at her desk and when we got back from lunch I could look at it!!!! I never, ever asked her about AAMT again. If AAMT’s own group leaders can't think of a good reason to join why should we?
