everyone she knew know that she was a CMT and used it practically every sentence. She was a lowsy transcriptionist and had 6 jobs in less than a year. I knew a woman who went to the trouble of getting her PhD in early childhood development because she wanted to be called Dr. Allen, but she had special needs kids at home that she didn't even realize were special needs and when she did sent institutionalized them, so she obviously wasn't very good at her job either. She had a license plate with PhD on it, even though her kid needed surgery that she couldn't pay for.
