came along and all I have seen is an increasing "failure to thrive" for the MTs. I have no confidence whatsoever in the AAMT organization; am not certified but after about 40 years experience, I am usually "grandmothered" in. I have NO intentions of getting certified; it is nothing but "bull phooey"...are the transcriptionists from India Certified???? What I would truly, truly like to see is a list of what AAMT HAS done for American MTs, (and PLEASE anyone with AAMT, feel free to give us your positive input), as well as a list of what they have NOT done for the American MTs, as well as a list of what they HAVE done AGAINST the American MTs. Everyone should send in their input here. It should then be quite easy enough to read the scales to see whether they have been helpful or not. To me, they have been nothing but a MAJOR pain in the gluteus maximus!!! Quite honestly, these are simple, straight forward questions and need and deserve simple, no-spin, straight forward answers. I can't want to see the responses!! Please "make my day" and convince me that I should join AAMT!
