But, where I am now (at Kaiser in Oregon), we have to do 87 minutes a day. Each minute is worth 11.5 lines, but they weight general medicine minutes by 8% for all the difficult doctors and multiple specialties, so in actuality we only have to transcribe 81 minutes a day. I did hear of a small national once that was paying by the minute though. I think it was like $1 a minute...so pretty crappy pay unless you can do 150 minutes a more a day. I just don't have a big enough attention span! LOL  Chickadee
