so far the only problem I have ever had with my husband's insurance is proving that my other daughter "required" speech therapy. I have to "reprove" it each year when I have her have summer therapy (she has apraxia) now....they paid for almost 2 years without a problem (about $30K) then pulled this this near the end of her weekly treatment (2 x a week) before she started Kindergarten. She was "approved" though and only had to cough up some copay money of $110. Checked regarding my other daughters surgery, etc., according to our insurance booklet though as long as all of the docs are in the PPO plan we are covered 100% for everything.....got the ER visit statement yesterday $8831 for her diagnosing CT scan/contrast dye for the Wilms tumor, totally nuts. Doubt they will get that much from the insurance company but we are not responsible for anything they don't pay as long as they are PPO....which that particular hospital system is luckily. But knowing our run of horrible luck(?) lately there will be a glitch somewhere....keeping my fingers crossed.
