My biggest gripe is not with the insurance company, but with the doc they paid - daughter has eczema, took her for establishment with a new physician, she stood across the room and said "she has a rash, is she contagious?" Then she asked what I wanted, worte a prescription and left - I saw the bill and immediately sent a complaint to the insurance company about what happened and asking them to contest the bill, got a notice from insurance that they paid - $200 for new patient consultation - she did not come within 6 feet of my daughter, took no history, only wrote prescriptions and was paid $200. Guess it was an easy $200 because we wont' go back - they pay for something like this but won't pay for a much needed stress test - the insurance companies are a joke.
