take some courses or something in the medical transcription field. it is almost impossible for you to understand what we as MTs go through without having been there and done that nor understand any of the basics. in my opinion, in order to run a very good MT company, you gotta have knowledge and background. i personally don't want to work for any bosses, companies, nor managers that have no idea. that's why i stay with a small company. also another reason why we are cut back on so many benefits and pay we used to have as others who have no idea are trying to run the transcription world.
