I believe in BOS, when typing medications and dosages, the form should all be uniform within a paragraph or list; i.e., all b.i.d., t.i.d., p.o., etc., OR twice a day 3 times a day, by mouth, etc.... SO.... if q.d. is on the do not use list, if we follow BOS guidelines, then we should never even use the b.i.d., etc., form. Am I interpreting this correctly?
