he'll be able to handle that. #1 - he talks WAY too fast #2- he slurs his words #3 - he constantly makes corrections as he dictates (that's where the 'I'm sorry' comes in). But in the long run, they won't really care because they will have an editor to make all of their corrections for them for just a couple of pennies a line. Now if the editors were to start charging per line PLUS per correction made, the docs would realize they either have to shape up for VR to work and save them money, or they would be better off having a regular MT do the job for them and save time. Time is money for a doctor, right? So where would their time be better well spent? Slowly and correctly dictating VR? Or interpretating more patient films (as with a Rad)?
