Between my husband any myself we have accumulated 80+ years of work experience and have been on both sides of the fence. He had a good union. Mine not too terrific but I did get a fair wage. Being in a union is not just for wages. How do you think workers got health insurance, sick time, vacation time, 40-hour work week, over time, safety in the workplace, and seniority just to mention a few? Because of unions that's why. Any union is better than no union. If you think employers willingly gave you these benefits out of the kindness of their heart you are a fool.
