"most MTs do NOT want to price themselves out of the market.....JUST get the market BACK HERE where it belongs and make the MTSOs pay the fair price for our experience;"

I understand what you are saying, but how do you propose we get the market back here? How do we make the MTSOs pay fair price for our experience? I have written letters to congress, signed petitions, etc. I see nothing being done about outsourcing. I see no more "cost-of-living" raises in my checks. I am just expected to work harder and longer hours at the same rate of pay I've had for more than 5 years to make my paychecks bigger to be able to survive in today's economy. I just put $3 of gas in my car because I was on empty and the needle did not even move!! Heck, $3 used to give me 1/4 tank of gas!!!

I'm just saying this fact.... No one is giving the MTs raises to keep up with the economy. I would like to ask here... who has had a raise in the last year? last 2 years? last 3 years? The rate of pay is not keeping up with the economy. I am sure that the MTSOs have raised THEIR rates; that the upper management has received raises in THEIR pay. They are not told "just put in more hours to make your paycheck bigger," which is basically what we are expected to do.
