as a medical transcriptionist. One of the docs was from Bolivia and dictated about a gazillion miles an hour. He dictated something that sounded identical to "The patient underwent a recollectomy" (was really right colectomy), and I said "I think I had that operation once, but I really don't remember." Good thing he had a good sense of humor.  Ironically, he turned out to be one of the easiest dictators I had, once I got used to him! But yes, you definitely need a raise!!
