I admit I'm not very knowledgable about the details of unionization such as some of you are, just know the general purpose of a union, and I definitely agree there is much more power in numbers and they are heard with a loud voice. I agree we don't need to be excessive and outlandish in demands, but this job is seriously underpaid for the skills required. And I'm also upset about the Dept. of Labor's definition of why it is outsourced. If there IS such a lack of qualified MTs, then we who are qualified should certainly be paid better, wouldn't you think? In my opinion, we are being made beggars in exchange for the chance to work from our homes. I've seen a few ads for hourly, in-house employees with impressive hourly wage offers, in addition to benefits and vacation. Why do have have to give up SO much just to work at home?
