Can I vent here: doasese patch = Duragesic patch dia nose of wung cancer = diagnosed with lung cancer has bing on home hospis consu care faw la few month = has been on home hospice comfort care for last few months. coo na way down fwa = could not lay down flat. co a ses tome = cholecystectomy. in 80s. (the patient is 90 years old). Does "in the 80s" mean when the patient was in his 80s or in the 1980s???? wowoxul = Levoxyl Priosit = ???who knows. Could it be Prilosec or Prevacid. requires Fowee caf = requies Foley catheter What is wrong with this sentence: "When she was trying to get off chair by himself...." Neck supple. No apoty. No JVD. = ?No adenopathy. I guess. Right lower lung mass with right lower lung intotrate = infiltrate. [the above 21 minutes of dictation was by an instructor!] Could this be partly why our medical schools can't turn out decent doctors? Problem of comprehension of the various languages? In grade school and high school when the school systems started putting in teachers with borderline speaking skills, it just seems like our quality of education skidded down into the toilet. Kids couldn't enunciate correctly. They didn't understand the subject matter (who could if the teacher wasn't saying the words so you could understand them!). Just a thought. I'm going for a very strong cup of coffee now and a very large Krispy Kreme donut. I have earned. it.
