would be foe paws, not faux pas, and I agree completely with all that you said. You know when you are struggling so much to just understand the language, you aren't going to catch the stuff about wrong lungs, wrong procedures. If the doc says fentanyl 75 mg patch, they're going to transcribe that, not 75 mcg.
