to NOT need any medical/dental benefits because my DH has them through his work, and they cost us almost nothing there. SO, the "flex dollars" that my employer allows you based on how many hours a week you work can either be paid in cash at 50% in your check, or rolled into a FSA. I chose the latter and in addition am contributing 20 dollars a week out of my check. Between the 2 kids about ready for braces to the tune of 4,300 dollars each, the eye glasses, the hearing aides for my husband, and all our co-pays, I am GOLD! We have no orthodontia coverage available to us, so this is perfect. I have no trouble finding something to empty it out on at the end of the year, at least so far, so I don't lose it.
