Billing Help Needed! IC for small account.

Hey!! I have a very small account with a doctor's office. Things got off to a "rocky" start. When he pitched the job to me, he offered $3.00 a page. After I agreed and went to pick up the work, he lowered it to $2.50. Being a nonassertive wimp, I agreed, as he argued his case that he dictates lots of things that can be just templated, etc.

Most of his reports are 3 pages long. He often will address a letter to more than one doctor. Like at the end he will say, "Oh, yeah, send this also to Dr. Whathisname. So, I used to just cc: the additional doctors. I print the jobs out myself, and would NEVER charge him for the cc copy. Dumb, I know.

So, he then says to me "I don't want this as a cc. I want each letter to be addressed to each doctor. Go in and change each doctor, and add his address. So, I did, but then charged him as if each doctor got a 3 page report. Well, I just got paid for this work, and he wouldn't pay me for the second 3 page report!!

I'm sure my BAD, but this guy has gotten me very CHEAPLY for now!!

What is proper billing for an IC - What should I charge him for just an extra copy of a report? I supply paper and ink myself, etc. Thanks SO MUCH for helping me out!
