I'm using it with Win98SE and have problems with skipping and the more the doctors let go of the button, the more skipping. If I use it in XP it doesn't skip, only IT guy couldn't get WP and PDR to work with DOS. I have no problem with sound quality AT ALL, unless it is just bad dictation anyway, background noise, dictating from a cell phone, etc. Now if the dictation is bad due to phone line static, or if they are bleeding work off from another system (as my company does) then nothing you can do will help that. You may just something as simple as updating a driver. I've included my e-mail if you want to e-mail me and I can maybe help you. I did have sound quality issues until I updated drivers and no problems since, except, lately I have noticed when I toggle out of VXP if I need to google something it will do something to the sound quality and I have to exit VXP and re-enter and it is fine again, until the next time I need to toggle out. I haven't figured that out yet, but is is something new and wasn't always like that. If you e-mail me - before you do, go to options in VXP and click on sound card capabilities and let me know what that says. Also go into Device Manager in your computer and tell me what it says under sound devices, and lastly what type of foot pedal, game port, serial port, USB, etc.
