UGHHHH!!! I work in-house for a large multi-specialty clinic. About 2 years ago we "upgraded" from Lanier Voicewrite to Lanier VXP digital system. The sound quality is HORRIFIC. We constantly have to diddle with the volume and tone controls with each physician. It's absolutely insane and does NOTHING for our productivity. There is a constant fuzzy background noise, or if we need to turn the tone up to hear better, then there is a high-pitched whine. Supposedly the Lanier people are aware of this issue and working on making the sound quality better. They have been doing this FOR TWO YEARS!!! This morning has been particularly difficult for me for some reason and I am ready to pull my hair out and quaff a bottle of Aleve. Thanks for listening!!
