I've been a volunteer EMT for about 15 yrs and have decided to apply for the next start of paramedic school (2006). Now that my kids are a little older, I can work the 12-hour shifts required a few days a week, and paramedics are very scarce in this region. I've always loved EMS and actual patient care, in fact I used to love MT that much, but not anymore.
