Are you using the documents that you submitted prior to editing? How much short are they coming up compared to yours? I am sure they are going by the edited documents and this can make a difference at times. I would look at that first and then if it is still too much of a difference then ask the company what software they are using to get their counts. MP Count and Word can be a difference when character counting and using spaces. Yours might be counting every keystroke versus theirs which could be just counting actual characters and spaces.
