teach her how to swallow pills. My two children hate medicine as well, but I can get them to swallow 1/2 of an ibuprofen w/ no problem.

Another thing...squirt it into her cheek, not her throat. Gagging is not fun.

Third advice...bribery. I know, I know, you're the mom and all, but she's a sick little girl that probably likes tootsie rolls :)
