Your client would probably appreciate it if you documented exactly what the invoice covers, not only giving total lines, total amount, but also giving a full breakdown of each report that is reflected in the totals. Our free software MPCount does this for you, as well as MPWord. In the upcoming MPWord 5 you can even specify what bits of information you want on the documenting pages. (MPW5 will even come in a FREE version, Student Edition, with limitations only on the number of facilities you have registered and on communications--fax, email and FTP.)
