As an MT, I am not qualified to be a nurse. It is a completely different set of requirements and education. Why it is so hard to understand that it is not simply "typing" that we do as MTs? You must know grammar, BOS rules, how to change dictation without changing the meaning of what the dictator says, etc.? Just because you have worked in one medical field does not mean you are necessarily qualified to work in another medical field without the proper training. Sheesh!
