
In some cases, it does. I have a friend who is an LPN.

She has a two-year degree plus 15 years of work experience. In addition to that, she had excellent typing, grammar and spelling skills in high school. She's qualified. I had her do some work for me at one time when she was between LPN positions. It depends on the person. I know of some nurses (and MTs) who have no spelling or grammar skills. Then there are others who are exceptional. You can't judge a book by its cover, nor a potential MT by a job title.
