While being an MT is challenging in itself, there is NO WAY it can compare to the responsibities of being an LVN, of having the lives & welfare & care of patients on your shoulders. It is much more stressful than MT work, with much more liability, which is why I've turned to being an MT. It didn't "qualify" me to be an MT, but it most certainly helped and, I think, adds some insight at times. (Not to mention the year of LVN school was pure h**l).
