Hmmm, IRS.Gov doesn't say anything about this going away

Sounds like someone isn't giving out good information somewhere. No, I'm not saying the original poster, but the IRS and tax-preparers are notorious for giving out misinformation and having to back-track quite a lot at this time of the year.
