SE employee

I work for MQ as an SE. I promised to work the hours I wanted to work which are 6 to 10 p.m. If I cannot start promptly at 6 p.m. then I will work later to make up that time. I can see where the company needs to know how many people will be working at certain times, so they can get an idea of how the work can be covered. It is no big deal to me. In fact, I would rather have set my own hours rather than jump on there anytime I feel like it. I know I am obligated to that time and arrange my time around it. I picked the evening shift, so I can do what I want during the day and then sit and type at night, since nothing on TV is good anymore. I also live alone and that works for me.
