I work part-time 25 hours a week for a national, plus side jobs on the weekends. I play classical or New Age music while I type, light stinky candles or simmer aromatherapy potpourri, have a cup of coffee or ice water or tea handy, get up and stretch, do yoga, type for 50 minutes or so, then clean house or take care of personal needs for 10 minutes, keep veggies and airpopped popcorn for when I get the munchies, open all the windows if it's warm. I set up goals for myself with regard to lines and income, and I have a To Do list to make sure I get all my stuff done in a day. It sounds kind of anal of me but I have to do it this way or else I get sidetracked or overwhelmed. I absolutely have to take mini breaks throughout the day because I have problems with my lower back and wrists if I don't. The yoga helps a lot.
