Hi -

I appreciate your questions and will answer them completely and honestly.

2004 brought a lot of changes to Keystrokes, some good, some bad, all depending on how you are looking at it. Yes, we did cut pay, but not drastically and far more in line with the rest of the services. We cut radiology to $1.10 per report with specials to $2.25 and HIM/clinic to 0.082 per line. Those were the unfavorable changes.

We put direct deposit in place and with a few entry glitches on very few MT payments, it has been smooth. It has been a learning experience with bank holidays - especially with Christmas and New Year's Day both falling on weekends, but we know what to do in the future, and everyone was ready before it happened.

We offer both IC and employee status. We have health insurance, although we are looking for different insurance that includes dental and vision. We offer 401k. We have the "right" management team in place - all MTs with the exception of the financial team. We just got a large server that will have "intranet" set up by April 1st with everyone able to check announcements, enter line and report counts, etc. We have worked with accounts to increase and improve the work flow. Our transcriptionists are busy but not hounded for extra work (except in rare cases when the docs go nuts). Our MTs know what is expected and are left alone except when they need something. Our office staff is courteous, knowledgeable and available (something that was lacking before). We promote from within.

We are working on a better benefits package, provide feedback and on-going education, and keep all work in the United States and will never change that.

We value our transcriptionists and know that Keystrokes would not be as large as now if we did not have an excellent team - all of the team from the newest MTs to the office staff to the managers.

Our line counts and report counts are available to the MTs and accounts and there are no "grey areas". We charge the same counts we pay on.

We might not be able to compete in all ways with MQ or other large nationals, but we will provide honesty, integrity, stability and a good environment to work in for all who are part of Keystrokes.

Thank you for listening.
