for your total lines typed each day, week, etc. (as in your billing period) and, therefore, you would have your own productivity stats. Based on the information you have given here, it sounds like you are an employee and NOT an IC. As an IC, you are the one who dictates the definition of a line and bills accordingly and this is usually the result of precontract negotiation between you and the client and is spelled out in your contract. Sounds to me like you are working as an employee and not an IC.
