I do MT as an IC for a doctor who

also hires a private billing service to take care of her coding and billing. She would like to find a way to combine the MT with coding and billing because she thinks she pays too much for the private billing service. She would like for me to do both for her.

I'm thinking about learning how to do coding, since I think the kind of MT I do (for private doctors) is pretty much the only kind of MT that pays decent money these days. I realize that if I want to continue doing MT with my own accounts, the universe of doctors who want this kind of personal service is getting smaller and smaller, so I need to expand my skills. If I can offer both MT and coding, I think it will be easier for me to maintain a reasonably good income.

I'm just starting to look into this, so don't have any real suggestions or information to offer you.
