When I worked for a hospital I was in training for coding through AHIMA. I trained on coding in-house and did my education at home. I also had a PT job coding xrays for a radiologist and was working overtime at the hospital. I am also a single mom. It can be done. I decided to stop the coding and further pursue transcription as I wanted to work at home. You can do whatever you set you mind to. Good Luck!!
