Are they sure its torticollis? I ask because

my daughter was diagnosed with that when she was very young. I had taken her to the doctor because she wasn't feeling well and her neck hurt. There had been an outbreak of strep throat at school. She had no symptoms of that so the doc didn't do a throat swab or take blood and diagnosed her with torticollis. When she didn't get better, they finally did blood work and it WAS strep. Within a couple of days of starting antibiotics, the supposed torticollis had cleared up. The next couple of times she had strep, once again there were none of the usual symptoms and I had to insist on the throat swab. Sure enough, it's always been strep.
