Go To My PC gives you access to everything on the doctor's office computer, so that is something to consider. To my knowledge, there is no way to restrict access only to certain folders or files -- it's an all or nothing thing. It works in my case because the doctor has a computer that is dedicated solely to transcription and is not connected to the doctor's office computer network. Of course, they wouldn't want me having access to their billing information, etc.

I am not sure if pcAnywhere would let you set up restricted access to only certain folders/files. There is probably a way to do that.
