Thanks everyone for the great ideas. I guess you're SO RIGHT about MQ being distracted with bigger issues. Guess that's one positive! As for supporting us, no, we're barely making it. As a matter of fact, just yesterday had to go into town and applying for assistance with heating and electric. NEVER had to do that. I used to make around 40K with MQ, but the last few years it has just plummeted, especially since converting to pay per line, instead of per page. Those sure were the days! I just never had time to wonder why I keep working and working more hours, and making less and less. Now its horrible. Someone else is asking gross for 2004, and I think mine is 19K max. SO NOW I GET TO QUALITY FOR GOVT ASSISTANCE. Its SO embarassing. But I have to suck up and think of my kids, and get whatever help I can. I just am so in denial thinking that MQ did this to us, but, it sure seems so. In a way, a very hypothetical way, MQ was sort of like a tsunami for lots of us - I do just feel flattened economically, yet I keep working and working and working. Now I know its NOT my imagination. Happy New Year every body! We'll all be okay somehow, right? And I don't mean to belittle the tsunami victims. My God, I have no idea how they even have the courage to wake up. My heart is just aching for them all, and the mothers. Its so terrible, please don't think I feel at all comparable to them. I was just speaking figuratively, but in a stupid way, I guess. Thanks again, everyone, for all your suggestions.
