Thanks for all the great ideas! I guess I forgot to mention that I thought of using the MQ computer because the specs for this other company matched the one I use now for MQ. I had thought of buying an old computer, but it needs to have some form of Pentium and Windows XP. I am not so worried about if MQ would allow it (I sort of figure they got me into this predicament, so they can help me get out of it!), as much as I am worried if I can actually physically install and run another program on the silly thing BEFORE I give MQ my notice! Guess I picture me trying to run another program and BELLS AND ALARMS going off at some "Q" desk somewhere, and the "Q" police arriving at my door and firing me! Know what I'm saying? So, I sort of need a NEW new computer, but don't want to waste the much-needed $$ to buy one when I might turn around and hate this job in a week, or find out there is no work, etc. The usual MT scams that can get pulled on us. I have too much at stake. That's why I HATE MQ FOR HAVING DONE THIS CRAP TO ME. I just cannot afford to make a mistake and end up on the street - Guess I could then buy a laptop? Plug into a telephone pole?
